Hello everyone! Last week I was in Levi (at the very north of Finland) with my sister and some friends. I got many opportunities to capture some of the very essence of all the snow up there, and many times I found myself walking in the woods with snow all the way up my waist! Yes, that is one metre of snow at least.
Unfortunately the weather there wasn't so great the days I were out photographing; very cloudy and snowing a lot, no sunshine unfortunately. Well anyway, here's a shot I took a few hundred metres outside of our cottage during mid day. I processed the RAW photo in Photoshop CS3 beta and added the soft vignetting and frame. Print available. Info: Canon EOS 20D | Sigma 12-24mm EX HSM | ISO100 | f/22 | 0.3 secs Hope you like it. Comments and critiques are welcomed. Paavo |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
