Artist's Comments

Hi everyone! Here's yet another shot that I took on Saturday in Pellinge (an islet outside Porvoo in Finland) at sunset. There were many prints of mice on the snow. In this shot I tried to use the prints as a lead in to the photo. PS-work: minor corrections to the photo, a bit of saturation, vignetting, dodge & burn tools and frame.

Hope you like it. Comments and critique are welcomed.

Paavo

You're right. I saw the tracks and was wondering what they were!

Did they work as a lead-in? My idea was that the viewer would first see the prints, then the small snow "hills" and then the sky. The sky is quite attiention-drawing though. It's so hard for me to see that, as I have been staring on that the whole time when post processing it hehe. :)

Wow, that is beautiful. You really nailed the exposure. Great job keeping the texture of the snow.
